Out of all of Stone’s seasonal releases, none is more eagerly anticipated than the Stone Imperial Russian Stout. Now, after a brief gap of unavailability, the glasses are back and better than ever. These are much thinner and much more fragile than our Maudite snifters, but otherwise, the design is pretty close.
Let me say this, these Stone Brewing glasses are some of the nicest I have ever seen, and the thin walls are fantastic.
Yes, thinner glass means it’s easier to break, but with a beer glass this awesome, you will be sure to take great care of it. Forget about washing it right after you use it, just fill it with water and leave it next to your sink to take care of it in the morning. In your post-IRS inebriation, your grip might be a little stronger than normal, and you don’t want to be picking glass shards out of your sink.
These are not your everyday beer glasses, but hey, Stone’s Imperial Russian Stout isn’t your everyday kind of beer.
